Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using asemble, the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Smashed Studios LLC is referred to as the Company, we, us, or our.

2. Description of Service

asemble is a group outfit coordination platform where hosts create events, organize groups, collect measurements, share external payment instructions, track status, and prepare exports. Guests can view outfit details and submit requested information.

Hosts may coordinate through SMS to a supported US mobile number, transactional email, or a manually shared link. Available automated invitations depend on the event tier and selected channel.

3. Accounts and Registration

You may sign in using a +1 phone number and one-time SMS code, an email magic link, or Google OAuth. You do not have to provide both phone and email.

• Provide accurate registration information.
• Keep your phone, email, Google identity, and session secure.
• Be at least 13 years old.
• Do not maintain more than one personal account.
• Accept responsibility for activity under your account.

4. Host Responsibilities

• Add only guests who agreed to participate.
• Request and share only the measurements and contact details needed for outfit coordination.
• Share guest data only with relevant parties, such as an assigned tailor.
• Represent event details, costs, deadlines, and expectations accurately.
• Follow applicable privacy, communication, and consumer laws.

5. Guest Responsibilities

• Provide measurements as accurately as possible.
• Understand that submitted event measurements are visible to the host.
• Resolve event-specific payment or coordination disputes with the host.
• Understand that providing a phone number or email for an event may trigger transactional invitations and reminders for that event, subject to the available opt-out controls.

After submitting as a guest, you may create an account through the secure handoff flow so the submitted measurements can be saved to your new profile. Contact hello@asemble.app for deletion requests that cannot be completed in the product.

6. Payments

For external methods such as Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, or bank transfer, asemble is a tracking tool and is not a party to the transaction. We are not responsible for peer-to-peer disputes.

If an on-platform Stripe payment feature is made available and used, Stripe processes the transaction under its Services Agreement and Privacy Policy. asemble does not store full card numbers or banking credentials. Fees and refund terms shown for an enabled payment flow apply to that transaction.

7. Measurement Data

• You can view, edit, export, and delete measurements saved to your profile.
• Event submissions are stored with the event and visible to its host.
• A secure post-submission account flow may copy a guest submission into the new profile.
• We do not sell measurement data.
• AI-assisted measurement features process data for the requested function and are not intended to retain it beyond that request.

8. SMS and Text Messages

asemble sends requested authentication codes and event notifications through Twilio. Event notifications can include invitations, measurement reminders, payment reminders, and confirmations.

Reply STOP to opt out of event SMS across the platform, or STOP followed by the host first name to suppress reminders from that host. Reply START to resubscribe after a platform-wide opt-out. Reply HELP or INFO for service and contact information. Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not send promotional SMS.

9. Email Communications

Resend delivers requested magic links, event invitations, event reminders, and one optional post-event feedback request to eligible hosts. Hosts can stop post-event feedback requests without disabling event or sign-in email. We do not use event email addresses for third-party advertising.

10. Post-event Feedback and Reviews

Eligible hosts may submit a rating, comments about what helped, and private suggestions for improvement. Feedback remains private unless the host separately permits publication. Public permission is optional and can be withdrawn at any time.

Hosts retain ownership of their words. Publication permission grants asemble a revocable, non-exclusive license to display the approved rating and review on asemble’s website and related marketing surfaces. We do not offer review incentives, and moderation may not reject a valid review merely because it is negative.

11. Content Standards

Do not submit content that contains hate speech, threats, harassment, explicit sexual content, sexualization of minors, glorification of violence or self-harm, fraud, scams, illegal material, or infringement of another party’s rights. We may use automated assistance to screen submissions, but screening is not exhaustive. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these standards.

12. Prohibited Use

• Do not collect personal information without knowledge or consent.
• Do not send spam or abuse event communication features.
• Do not impersonate others or misrepresent identity.
• Do not disrupt the Service or attempt unauthorized access.
• Do not use the Service for illegal purposes.

13. Intellectual Property

asemble is a trademark of Smashed Studios LLC. The asemble name, logo, and platform design belong to Smashed Studios LLC. You retain ownership of content you upload and grant us a limited license to display and process it as needed to provide the requested service.

14. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for inaccurate measurements, outfit outcomes, user payment disputes, or indirect damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms. You may delete your account from the Profile page. Profile and hosted-event data is removed, but minimized records of your participation in another host’s event may remain for that host’s records.

16. Changes

We may modify these terms. Material changes will be communicated through the app or email. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
